Terms of Service

By accessing or using Yardage ("the Service", "we", "us") at yardage.us, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Yardage is a golf trip planning tool that helps groups research destinations, courses, and logistics. It generates AI-assisted itineraries based on information you provide, such as travel dates, group size, and budget. The Service is currently provided free of charge.

Course information — including green fees, booking windows, and access policies — is researched by us but represents estimates only. Always verify details directly with the course or resort before booking.

Yardage does not require you to create an account. Trip data is identified by a randomly generated ID stored in your browser or shared via a link. You are responsible for saving or sharing your trip link if you wish to access the trip later.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload our systems;
• Use automated tools to generate trips at scale without our written consent;
• Circumvent any security or access controls we have in place.

Yardage relies on third-party services to deliver its functionality. These include, but are not limited to:

• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure;
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI-generated itinerary content;
• Flight data providers — estimated airfare lookups;
• Mapping / routing APIs — drive-time calculations.

Your use of these services through Yardage is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party providers.

All content on Yardage — including editorial course guides, destination writeups, and the application itself — is owned by Yardage and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or redistribute our content without permission.

Trip itineraries you generate are yours to use for personal planning purposes. We retain a non-exclusive license to display anonymized or community-shared itineraries within the Service.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that course data, green fees, booking availability, or AI-generated itineraries are accurate, complete, or current. Use the Service as a starting point, not as a substitute for direct communication with courses and resorts.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yardage and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Service — including, without limitation, missed tee times, booking errors, or reliance on inaccurate course information.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Service after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
